I understand finding this button can be a nightmare but I personally don't switch that much between those views so having it be a big button would feel wasteful. Dec 7, 2023 · In the normal Steam client being able to see only installed games is super useful because not only does it hide games that aren't installed, it also shows them sorted into the collections you've made. It's the best thing ever, honestly. Make sure your filter is not set to "Installed". The library is set to "all games" but it only shows the ones I have currently installed. Out of curiosity I switched to Desktop mode, clicked off the icon to just show installed games there, switched back to Game mode and it was fine. If you have games installed on your computer that you don't own, Steam will find them anyway and list them, even if you don't have the ability to play them.
