Testimony from Dignitaries

Shri Rajesh Singh, IAS,
Secretary Defence, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India
"The Intention is over the next 10 years we spend twenty five billion dollars every year in building up our capabilities. And as part of that our expectation are that seventy five percentage of the money is spent within the country. And that is where the need for adopting the most efficient manufacturing technologies like 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing becomes more critical. 3D GEM event is a great platform to deliberate and access the growth potential in 3D Technology. And I wish the event a great success."

Air Marshal C R Mohan, AVSM, SVSM,
AOM, HQ, MC, New Delhi
"3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing is a great technology in the offering for Aerospace and Defence. Digital Twin is our immediate interest. 3D GEM is a great platform introducing 3D technology to different industries and end users. We wish 3D GEM a great success to help the end users learn emerging 3d technologies. We are happy to engage with the team to introduce us to the latest 3D tech solutions that we have experience in IIT Bombay in the 3D tour. I Congratulate the Organisers IIT Bombay & 3D Graphy for organising a great successful event”

Smt. Sunita Verma,
R&D in Electronics and CC&BT Division. R and D in IT Division, MEITY
"MEITY has come up with a National Strategy on Additive manufacturing in the year 2022, where we have proposed to set up 10 centers with focused areas. And as Dr. Sankha Dip Das is leading this initiative in the Ministry and the first center that he has set up is NCAM. There is immense opportunity in 3D technologies with 3D Printing & 3D Visualisation need to be promoted through platform like this. 3D GEM event is good platform to ensure the end users from the industry is connected. And we are happy to have supported the event".

Dr. Girdhar Gyani,
Director General, Association of Health Care Providers (India)
" As we know 3D Printing was first developed in 1980's and since then it has made rapid progress. 3D Printing finds applications in the Healthcare industry in major 4 area's. That is creating tissues and organoid, second is surgical tools, third is patient specific surgical models, and final one is custom made prosthetics. Am going to invite all member hospitals to participate. And I wish 3DGEM a great success".

Dr. Bikramjit Basu
Director, CSIR - CGCRI
" 3D GEM is a good ecosystem of Engineers, Medical practitioners, researcher, scientists and 3D technology experts to all join and educate each other on the subject. As a 3D GEM Ambassador I would like to welcome all to join the 5th edition of 3D GEM 2025 to be held on 9th & 10th October 2025 in IISc Bengaluru".

Dr. Sankha Dip Das,
Scientist "E", MEITY
" Democratisation of Additive Manufacturing (AM) can be achieved in India through increasing affordability of indigeneous AM Technologies for MSME's and globally by exporting AM manufactured products from India. CDAC did participate under the National Strategy for Additive Manufacturing (NSAM) promotion along with MEITY and MOD. MietY has also recognised 3D GEM event as important and hence has supported the event. Both industry and MoD has got a glimpse of kind of technology NSAM is developing under its centres and how they can help our strategic sector. Based on the event, lot of collaborations are being made with MoD. In fact post this program MoD has decided to sign MoU under the program for fulfilling countries strategic needs which has now been recognised by office of PSA. 3D GEM events are well organised. We wish the upcoming 5th edition 3D GEM 2025 a great success".
